BRIMFIELD — The Brimfield Select Board voted 3-0 to award a real estate brokerage contract to SR Commercial Realty, advancing the sale of a tax-title property, while tabling votes on other delinquent properties until the full five-member board is present. Members Tom Stewart, Christopher DeBruin and Mitch Frazier cast every vote; Chair Martin Kelly and Vice Chair Crystal McGuire did not appear in the roll call. The board approved a $31,000 payment on the town's public water supply construction project, with about $21,000 remaining as retainage, and asked the Board of Health chairperson to attend future payment votes.
Members also adopted a town counsel access policy and signed on to a free state cybersecurity training program, naming Chris DeFalco and Deb Fagerstrom as local coordinators. One member said it was "important to have full representation of the select board" before voting on additional tax-title takings.
