Southwick Finance Committee backs nine warrant articles but withholds recommendation on senior exemption and meals tax. Article 16, the local meals tax adoption, also went without a recommendation after no motion was made. The committee recommended Article 8, a tax increment financing agreement for a commercial property, after stripping disputed dollar figures from the pro language amid a gap between an $18 million TIF valuation and a $6.5 million assessor estimate.
