Finance Committee · Meeting of September 30, 2026

LUDLOW — The Ludlow Finance Committee recommended approval of three of seven warrant articles ahead of Monday's fall Town Meeting. Chair Chad Mullin led review of the warrant, including a $5,250 transfer to join the Pioneer Valley Mosquito Control District, which members questioned after learning the town's free cash has not yet been certified for the new fiscal year. Interim Town Administrator Carrie Ribeiro, filling in since Mark Strange's resignation, told the committee the Health Department "did work with our town council" on the article despite confusing language.

The committee also recommended creating a Mill Towns Vaccine Revolving Fund and approving unpaid prior-year bills, but declined to take a position on three zoning bylaw amendments and on authorizing the Select Board to negotiate a tax agreement with Ludlow Mass West Street Solar LLC.
