SOUTHWICK -- June 8, 2026, Southwick Council on Aging reports $2,200 in new grants and restructures a staff position. A staff position held by Kara was reduced from 20 to 15 hours per week and redefined as administrative support, with posting expected through Human Resources Director Nadine once a job description is finalized. Three member seats up for June renewal, held by Paula LeBlanc, Carol Loughran, and Carol Smith, are being processed through the town's Select Board portal, with Loughran staying on as a full member, Smith moving to associate, and a member identified as Annie moving from associate to full member in Smith's place; approvals are expected in July.
