Wires Downed by Macroburst Still Tangle Springfield Woman's Backyard

A Springfield homeowner says downed utility wires have remained tangled across her backyard for more than a week since a macroburst tore through the region, leaving her unable to safely use the space, according to a Western Mass News report published Monday. Hall of Fame weekend coverage also continued into Monday, with newly inducted honoree Elena Delle Donne's remarks at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame drawing fresh national attention to the Springfield ceremony held August 15.
