WESTFIELD --

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Westfield Youth Hockey Association, known as "the Bombers," kicked off its 2026 November calendar raffle. The group is drawing one winner every day through the month, with Fran Case named the first winner on Nov. 1, taking home a $100 cash prize. According to the WYHA, proceeds from the raffle "help us continue providing wonderful opportunities for our young hockey players, including goalie training, speed skating, and so much more." WYHA offers programs for boys and girls ages 3-18, from Learn-to-Skate through competitive league play.

COMMUNITY -- Westfield Adult Recreational Soccer continues its weekly pickup games for adult men and women from the surrounding area, drawing players with an average age of roughly 35 to 40. The group plays every Sunday morning "unless there is snow on the ground," rotating among local fields including Houlihan/Sid Fay, Kehler Athletic Stadium, Westfield High School, Clark High School and Oak Ridge Park. The club says it has run for "over 20 years," with support from the Westfield Soccer Association, the Clark Soccer Club and the Town of Westfield. Organizers ask prospective members to attend a game before joining the mailing list.

No Westfield High School games were reported for this period, according to ArbiterLive scheduling records.
