Southwick Planning Board unanimously approved expanded boat-slip permits for a Congamond Road marina while continuing a contested Crepes Tea House outdoor-dining hearing on a 4-1 vote. The board, chaired by Jessica Thornton, approved three motions covering a Special Permit, a Wellhead Protection District Special Permit, and an overall amended decision for Ken Eggleston's marina at 141 Congamond Road, fixing the property at 16 transient and 24 leased boat slips. The Crepes Tea House matter — a request to seat up to 20 patrons in a gazebo at 157 Feeding Hills Road — drew a split, with member Jason Grunwald saying he lacked "the faith that we're going to comply with flex seating" given prior permit violations, while Attorney Rachel Fancy offered to draft proposed permit-condition language for a March 24 vote.

Abutter Diane Juzba, recused as a board member, submitted written objections citing septic capacity limits, noise, and unresolved crowd-control questions.
