Board OKs Golf Simulator, Extends Pizza Shop Hours

East Longmeadow Planning Board approves golf simulator and later pizza-shop hours in one meeting. The board voted unanimously to grant Gatsby Golf Company LLC a special permit for an eight-bay indoor golf simulator with a full kitchen and alcohol service at 45 Baldwin Street, after Town Council President Ralph Page confirmed the liquor license was contingent on the board's approval. Members also voted unanimously to extend Little Caesars Pizza's hours to midnight at 626 North Main Street, conditioned on restricting vendor deliveries to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. after neighbor Rolando Curtis said trucks "are there for hours at a time" near his property.
Separately, the board amended a site plan condition for East Longmeadow Redevelopers, LLC's 330 Chestnut Street project to extend a substantial-use deadline tied to ongoing litigation, endorsed two lot-division plans, and directed staff to draft a cease-and-desist notice against the Happy Acres Subdivision developer, with Chair Russell Denver setting a November 1 compliance deadline.
